1 in 3 Texas mothers report lacking consistent access to essential baby items like diapers, wipes, and safe sleep spaces.
60% of new parents say they feel isolated or unsupported during pregnancy and the first year of life.
Texas has one of the highest maternal mortality rates in the U.S., with preventable complications disproportionately affecting uninsured and low‑income mothers.

Proper nutrition, particularly during pregnancy and early motherhood, is vital for overall well-being. Equipping young families with financial literacy, including budgeting, saving, and understanding credit, empowers them to build a stable foundation for their future. Additionally, guiding parenting skills helps young mothers navigate the challenges of motherhood effectively, while encouraging self-care ensures that they prioritize their own well-being.
